iPhone 4s price when iPhone 5 is released

Any perspectives please!

I have spoken to reps from the Vodocom Shop and others. They say that the contract price will drop when iPhone 5 is released. Spoke to a Vodocom rep this week about an upgrade (he phoned me) - he stated with conviction that the iPhone 4s price will not drop, and that the iPhone 5 will only be here in Jan 13. Must I wait to see if it works out like that - I want to get the iPhone 4s.

The iphone 5 will be relaesed in South Africa a full 2 months before the iphone 6 gets released in the US the way things are going.

Getting mine from Switzerland next month. Had enough of this waiting.

Normally they try and sign you now and two months down the line the price drops.
I am also looking at one, Makro had a 16G 4s for R249 pm.

It's strange India is getting the iPhone before us is I can recall India and SA got the iPads and iPhones around the same time.Looks like Late November or Early December now

A week ago, upon enquiry, almost all suppliers were out of stock in terms of the 4s 16gig. Only one Dion Wired store and one Incredible Connection store could provide. I decided rather safe than sorry and got two x 4s for me and my wife. Will see later whether it was a mistake or not

Good luck! Hope you still get one. What capacity are you looking for, since it seems the 16gig is veeeerryyyy scares.

Easy. Switching to Cell-C and getting a 32gig for R499 which includes 200 minutes and 500meg per month.
