Obviously iPhone 5's is being bought left right and centre, BUT does anyone know when will it be enabled for LTE by any of the networks?

I called Vodacom and activated LTE on my account, and I have configured APN settings on my iPhone 5 but the connection is still not LTE...

I must say that the speed is still crazy - I am getting around 20Mbps download & only 0.12Mbps upload

I believe that the LTE APN is not yet being in broad use yet hence it's not under heavy strain

Anybody any comments or any info regarding iPhone 5 LTE in SA?

Well I also just asked the same question... basically its not Vodacoms fault, apple still need to approve the LTE network on the iPhone 5, and then will push out new carrier updates that enables LTE.

Anyway, Im also getting really fast speeds - www.speedtest.net/iphone/414126621.png

Hope it happens soon! I saw someone mention about it been approved in the next 2-3 months or so!

Ouch...I was hoping that the 2-3 months answer was in weeks rather :wtf:

Yeah :/ Apple tends to take its time, bet they have there feet up on the table with a nice cup of coffee :( Lets cross fingers and hope it comes sooner :D
