I wonder if anyone else experiences this. When I turn on my iPhone 5 with Vodacom sim on, it says no service at the top left where it should say vodacom. Then I enter my passcode. Then it says no service for a few seconds and then the popup comes to hit unlock and I enter my pin. As I enter my pin it still says no service for a few seconds and then it says searching and finally Vodacom appears.
While this is just a mild annoyance, my iPhone 4 never used to say searching. Locally it would pick up Vodacom immediately. Do you think this is because Vodacom is still sorting out the iPhone 5 or because I used the phone in the UK with another sim and it still has some other carrier settings somewhere?
Any advice or tips?
