Has anyone got it working?

When I SMS 123 it tells me that my phone is not supported. Same story from Vodacom support. I tried to explain that the operating system on the 4S is the same as the 5 and there is no reason VVM shouldnt be supported on the 5 but no luck so far.

Got mine working, I've heard about it but I didn't know you could even do it on vodacom! But on the first day of my iphone 5 I discovered on vodacom that it was possible! Will try upload a screenshot later!

Oh did you exactly SMS 123 "VVM ON" in caps?

Oliver

I just restored my iPhone 4s backup onto iPhone5 and it works fine. Not sure why it would be different

According to the Vodacom website, it is free for 30 days, and then they charge you R9,99 per month.

Yeah its on my advanced billing on vodacom website, R9,99 wont kill me :) Hopefully ;) Hahaha, i've been having huge data issues on the iPhone 5! I was on a 4s and it was fine? Any ideas...?? I "used" 300mb in like 5 days, and it was on holiday, with edge? I barely used my phone and it was mostly off or sim locked!

I've also had huge issues with vodacom, they soft locked my iPad and iPhone because I reached my credit limit of R9750? Turns out they put in the invoices in the system in advance, so iPad + iPhone = x amount , but then I have a monthly limit of R1500 so if they do it x2 its over that limit.. Yet they dont mention anything? No help... Vodacom can be a bit clueless at times (some of their staff) , and really helpful at times..

Did you find a solution to this? I had VVM on my iphone 4 and now that I upgraded to the 5 its say the model is not supported?

Geez Vodacom is a bunch if useless tossers. Visual Voicemail worked perfectly for the first three weeks since I had my iPhone 5 and the weekend it just stopped. If I try to reactivate is says "phone model not supported". WTF?
