Hey guys

I was wondering about the iPhone 5S cpo deals at Vodacom. My mom went there to ask about it and one of the workèrs told her that the cpo has many problems like failed software, feeezes, switching off randomly etc. Thing is I have done my research on pre owned IPhones and I could only find one complaint out of like 20-30 people. I talked to the worker ovèr the phone and he suggested the 6 version so maybe he was trying to get me to buy that version. I then called the store and the woman on the phone said that she has heard of no problems for the phone from their store (but she wouldn't say even if they did).

So my question is should I consider getting a different phone because my contract is ending in 2 weeks and the deal is too good to pass by?
Does vodacom give them to a third party company to certify them or to apple themselves to certify the phones?
Anyone got any bad complaints of the cpo iphone 5s that you have heard of? From Vodacom preferably but any is welcome.

Thanks in advance.

I got 2 CPO's recently from Cellular City for wife and daughter. I can't tell them apart from new.

In addition to this query: Is the iPhone 5s still worth getting for my wife to use for the next two years? Or rather not? iPhone 6 is not within the available budget.

Is there still stock of these? I've struggled to find two weeks back when I looked

If you looking for an iPhone and you can't go iPhone 6 then yes, 5s is still a solid piece of kit. Will be interesting to see what the SE will cost though. Maybe worthwhile waiting for that. Should be here within the next 2 months... 6s internals so a very competent 4" device...

What a load of ***.

Also organised two recently and it's no different from any other iPhone 5S.

And yes the 5S is still more than capable if you are happy with the screen size.

I can only echo what sandman and sauronza said...definitely a good option to consider, especially if 6 & 6s is out of budget. The 5s is a 64-bit phone so in my opinion it will keep up quite well with functionality, etc. until a next upgrade.

Got one 5S CPO today. If I don't find a used 5S for the second phone I'm looking for, I'll go back for another. They are as expected - like new
