So I'm thinking of getting an iphone 5c with the smart 100 thing where you get 1GB data and 100 minutes, the 16GB is R259x24months but for R399 a month you get a iphone 5s (16GB) but on smart 50 Which is only 500mb and minutes.... Is It worth it? And will 500mb last me the month? I have a BB at the moment so I don't know how much my data and stuff is coz I have BIS, if I'm on Bbm whole day will I make it with 500mb?

Bbm, doesnt use much, unless you send pics and voice notes. Im a heavy email user, 3 business email, and then the whatsapp and bbm. I use avg 250mb, not allot of pics, just text really

I would definitely advise you to go for the 1 GB of data, as once you have a device that you can use for the internet comfortably, you will notice your internet usage escalating from whatever it was on your BB.
I see the 5S for R349 on smart 100 here over here though, so if you can afford it, maybe go for it...? I would say if your budget is completely fixed and you can't just go for the above contract that it goes: more data THEN better phone (5S in this case).

Just a thought.... I started off using 200-300mb per month in the beginning... then slowly crept overt he 500 mark.
This is used for surfing the net a bit as well as email (personal x1 and business x2) and whatsapp. I now have DSL with wifi in my home and am now using about 100mb / month in data as the load has moved off... so think about whether you can or already have wifi at home / office that you can jump on.

I would go for the Smart 100 contract as it comes with free Wi-fi access (upto 10 GB) which is available at most malss and airports. Quiet useful, for data hungry apps, which you will get once on iphone :).

Is it possible to load airtime and buy data once the contracts data is complete? If so will it be 8.ta airtime that I load?
