if anyone sees any place with stock of these let me know. it must be the clear tempered glass for the iphone 6 plus

Try Vodacom stores. It's where I got mine. Also had to reapply, now the bottom right corner looks raised, lost it's adhesion I think or one of the layers in the stack got bent and is not allowing it to lay flat anymore.

Exactly the same issue. They not meant to reapply (but my ocd got the better of me) ... Checked in Fourways pretty much all the Vodacom stores ... No one has stock

Got the iPhone Apple leather cases ordered from Orange online ... So am waiting for that, and need this tampered glass. The iPhone 6 screens apparently are very susceptible to scratches

Yep, any kind of screen cover + OCD = heartache.

I've done without them for ages because they were so annoying if even a mm out. But I got a tempered glass cover for my S5 recently and got the guy in the shop to stick it on and it sits lovely. I know that if I did it myself, no matter how nice it was sitting, it wouldn't be good enough and I'd have to move it :D

I was hoping Apple did do sapphire glass then I wouldn't bother with a screen protector (my luxury watch has sapphire glass and that has been bumped scrapped against walls and zero scratches, not even the hair line thin ones) ... Spending like almost r13k on a phone I don't want to risk it getting scratched and the like

Edit: my tampered glass is perfectly on the phone now :) (right down to the 1mm) except for the lifted edge that is not sticking to the phone screen

Just note, it doesn't cover the entire screen due to the curved nature of the iPhone 6 screen

Neither do the plastic ones.

Just to ask. Are the cutouts for the front camera there? I bought a body glove case that came with a matte screen protector and there is no cutout, so the front camera is now hazy

That is just pathetic design on the part of the supplier.

I am also looking for a screen protector where camera has a cut out, this is for the iPhone 6....any ideas?

No cut out on the front for the camera unfortunately ... So I'm sure the front camera is going to be all hazy ... I have ordered a tuff luv tempered glass from their online store and also a iloome tempered glass from Europe ... Right now I have spent way too much on screen protection for this phone.

Ended up finding a 6 plus tempered glass protector at vodaworld. Only for me to mess up the install again ... This ocd thing, I need help

:D

I put a new screen cover on my Note 8.0 today and as sure as beans make you fart, the first one was absolutely perfect with all the bubbles removed ........ until I noticed it was covering about 1mm of the home button. Arggghhhh!!!!

So at that point I thought of this thread and ripped it off and did it again, and again. Now I have a few bubbles round the edge but at least it's not touching the home button :erm:

Lol ... Again a 1mm to close to the home button, so removed it carefully so as not to damage the glass ... Then reapply it perfectly aligned (top to bottom left to right) ... And it caught some dust now :( ... And I had a busy day with meetings and needing to give the team guidance etc and here I am stressing about a stupid screen protector ... I seriously need help :(

Lol. But if you have dust or hair or whatever on the side that sticks to the phone, wrap some selotape around a couple of your fingertips and dab the dusty areas gently.

Ouch. I should load a suitcase up, I can get tempered glass covers here in Saudi for about R75.

Oh my, looks like you're having a grand old time there :erm:

I live in Hermanus and I won't be home till Christmas time anyway. But I'm sure you'll be happy with a cover by then (or bankrupt), but I'll follow the thread and see how you go anyway :D

Lol most probably bankrupt ... Some people spend their money on drugs and booze ... Me screen protectors

Well I took it out ... Googled YouTube videos on how to without messing the glass , selotaped the hell out of the glass and reapplied ... And guess what ... It came out pretty damn ok ... One small speck of dust visible under fluorescent only ... So I'll leave it at that ... Hopefully ocd can rest (I hope)

I thought I was the only one OCD a about screen protectors lol.

Now why don't the manufacturer apply a screen protector at the time of production. They can add this to the price of the device I don't mind.
