Maybe a bit easier to visualise...

5.5 is to big, and 4.7 to small, 5 inches would have been ideal :p

So what are you guys getting, 4.7 or 5.5?

Quite sufficient actually: https://www.apple.com/iphone/compare/

Just scroll down a bit.

Try below. Select your monitor size and then actual size and you will get a to scale comparison. The Plus is HUGE!!

Natural choice for me was 4.7 but I'm pissed that it's getting 1gb of ram and no optical image stabilization. Also the bigger battery in the plus and landscape mode are tempting me BIGTIME!!

People that have only ever used a 3.5"/4" iPhone in there lives before are in for a bit of a shock!

The bigger screen neutralises the bigger battery ...

The Plus wasn't even an option until I read what it offers compared to the 6.Now in two minds - will keep researching and acid test will be when I get them both in my hands!

Nope. Mileage on a single charge is better than the 4.7 in every category.

It's going to suck in one hand, even with the reachability function!

Its worth a look for me then. Moving from a note 2 in March.

Have you used iOS before?

Why the move?

Size won't be an issue for you, at all.

I had a S4 for about 6 months and wasn't put off by the size. iPhone 6 is just about the same size. Plus is huge though...

Never used any apple products besides my iPod Clickwheel.

I just want to play with a 5S and see how it is. I am due for upgrade...and frankly I am not sure what to do.

I was actually even thinking to get any standard phone that is water/dust/shock resistant...

But this bigger iphone looks interresting.

True. The Plus could be a bridge too far for me....

If one handed use is a priority then forget it.

That screen is a beaut though. The things you could enjoy on there??

Price may also play a role. If we talking R50-R80 per month more for a plus vs 6, on contract, then it may be worth it to go big.
