iPhone 6s

Not sure really, just wanted to try new things. I'm also too old and tired to constantly fiddle with my phone, so I just want something that works;)

Indeed, once the fiddling fun is over, the basics/just working is what counts.

A smarter Siri might also help. This morning I asked her if somthing important is happening tomorrow and she refered me to some county game at Lords

Clearly Siri thinks cricket is more important than the next iPhone.

+1

I went to my grandmother the other day and she wanted something basic - she wanted to Whatsapp, phone and snap a few photos. She obviously didn't need high resolution screens or the best camera for her snaps, so I recommended the iPhone for sure.

She's super happy actually, so there is definitely a need. Not everyone needs cutting edge technology

Open ≠ cutting edge.

Insane.

Open ≠ cutting edge.

There's no shame in having an average phone? Phones are tailored for different markets and the iPhone is a pretty good average phone. There are plenty of phones out there that aren't as good!

Cutting edge walled garden FTW.

Well it seems bend gate is in the past... Amazing

I don't think it ever made it to the present, at any time. It was a pretty ridiculous new 'bar' of measurement, because 99.9% of the time they will never break under normal use/storage.

Eish...smaller battery

Apple promo video appears to confirm that iPhone 6s features 1,715 mAh battery

Sony takes dig at Apple, asks Siri about battery life of new iPhones

http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_takes_...he_battery_life_of_new_iphones-news-13942.php

The number suggests shorter battery life, but I bet it'll be equal to or better than the 6. Apple simply wouldn't take a step backwards after its customers are used to a level of performance.

Battery numbers can be just like any other marketable numbers - megapixels, dynamic contrast ratios... It's a different ballgame when the a vendor has total control over the software and hardware.

My guess is that iOS 9 will lead to more power efficiency.

The battery really concerns me :( Will have to wait for benchmarks I guess...

I think if equal to the 6, it'll be worse off than Sony. They're known for battery life.

I know that and Sony know that hence their jab at Apple. They wouldn't jab if wrong.

Apple don't have bad batteries per se, they could just improve
