iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

From their T&C's

Trade in voucher can be claimed if an iPhone cellular contract is renewed, upgraded or a new contract is taken out at iStore, or if a new iPhone is purchased for cash.

thanks, clearly an rtfm failure on my part :)

Yes, 2 years ago when I upgraded my contract and got a 6, I traded in a 4s and got the cash back.

Quite a story with that 4s of mine, my cousin picked it up in the US and because he hated iPhone and was hardup for cash at the time I baught it off him for R1000. I used it for just short of 3 years and then traded it in at the iStore for R1500.

Anyone have a idea how much less the trade in amount will be if you don't have the original Apple charging brick and cable? I long since don't have the original charging brick anymore and the cable also broke a month or 2 ago.
Last time I traded in the charger and cable wasn't needed, they only wanted the device and didn't even switch it on to test it, they just visually checked it and also felt whether all buttons was still working.

Lolz

So, I decided to pull the pre order trigger on the iStore website. Said I'm interested in a matt black 128 GB, Vodacom contract upgrade, so I guess Vodacom will contact me as soon as they announce their contract pricing.

"Neverlocked" - they should trademark that as part of their scam. lol
