iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

Been listening to music this evening and did another comparison between 3.5mm and Lightning EarPods and I'm even more sure the sound quality is better through the Lightning version (and to keep it fair I used a brand new pair of 3.5mm ones from my 6S Plus box).

Whatever other issues there are around the earphone jack, sound quality wise it seems Apple does have a point.

I take it you don't live in SA if you were able to get your hands on the 7?

Getting mine on Monday, very excited ;)
 
So I just received my 256gb matte black iPhone 7 (1 day earlier then expected) and really loving it. I actually quite like the new home button. Took me 5 seconds to adjust. Really not as bad as some people make it out to be. Stereo speakers are awesome, very loud! Not missing the headphone jack at all so far. Just plugged the adapter on my sennheiser earbuds and plugged in to the phone. I actually think the sound quality sounds better to me. I guess everyone's ears are different. For me it sounds excellent!

My only issue so far is that is seems iOS 10 is not fully optimized for iPhone 7. There are some strange animation glitches and stuttering as opposed to my 6s which is fluid. I'm confident apple will sort it out in 10.1 update.

Not in normal use, no. Can't hear a thing unless I put my ear to the back of the phone by the apple logo. Then I can hear a slight hiss, however I tested my 6s and had the same sound so I'm pretty confident it's normal.

I'm not denying that there could be problem phones but in my opinion people are looking for faults where there are none or they look for the slightest thing that could seem like a problem.

Also, yellow gate? Seriously? This screen is beautiful. Now I haven't had a chance to compare the 7 to the 6s, but I cannot see anything wrong with the display. If there is a yellowgate then I hear waiting a few days resolves the issue. Not phased by it at all.

Yep a beast no doubt, I'm just hoping Apple fix iOS 10 for the 7. Considering installing 10.1 beta but heard that beta 1 doesn't fix much so I'll wait till beta 2 and see what people say.

I am going naked! ;) it's too beautiful for it to be hidden in a case! I have a screen protector on though. I also did buy a clear matte skin from BestSkinsEver but haven't received it yet.

Hmmm, well unfortunately I suffer from sweaty hand syndrome lol, so the back does get fingerprints and moisture, but it's not as noticeable as it would be on the Jet Black.
