iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

@Ffose what case you using for your 7?
@adamr I heard the 128gb were sluggish also for R100 extra for a month why not dbl the capacity.

Blood - I've had a brush with cancer but it's been successfully treated with chemo; I have weekly blood tests.

I'm using the official Apple smart battery cover - it does add some girth but is nice and grippy when taking photos.

I bought the phone outright for £699, works with any sim, the Beoplay H5 were £200, the case £99 and the watch £349. That's 23180 Rands.

Getting cancer over the Summer I was still being paid whilst in hospital and amassed quite a lot of money.

Lol ... That's the 32gig (stay away from those). Ahhh contract. Yeah dunno what those contract prices are. Both mine and my wife's I bought cash. Then in your case it makes sense to get the 256 if only R100 more

My wife is gonna score. She took the mtn sim contract out at R149pm ... So a free iPhone 7 plus from me plus 50gig a month and all those minutes ... She is smiling

Nice to hear that you recovered !

Is the 7 a massive difference from the 6s ? (Shattered my screen and bent the frame of my 6s last week but not so keen on going for the 7 even though the new screen doesn't work so well because of the frame).

Didn't have the 6s, last I had was a 5, but I've heard many people saying, no, not really.

I do like the improved haptics and capacitive button - plus the OIS really makes a difference in photos.

If you not a camera and photo nut ... I'd say the overall experience plus speed feels exactly like my 6s plus. For me the jump from the 6 plus to the 6s Plus felt bigger than the 6s plus to 7 plus

I bought a 7 and then decided to keep my 6s Plus and gave the 7 to my daughter. Very little difference in use imo...

They've virtually replaced real cameras going by sales figures. Who can be arsed lugging an SLR around?

Not I, especially when all there is to photograph is darkness, snow and rain. I'd much prefer an iPhone 7 which has a decent camera and much more besides.

Snow can be good to photograph, pity we haven't had any proper snow for the last 5 years... where are you? Lapland?

I'm only an hour down the road and we've not had any for years. I even bought winter tyres about 4 years ago...what a waste they were :p

It was down to -12c in parts of Scotland last week although not in the city I live in, just -6 here. We've had snow twice this autumn so far.
