iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

As someone who's had Android smartphones all his smartphone life (and rooted almost all of them). I must say I'm really enjoying the experience on the iPhone 7 so far.

with MTN?

I was getting a bit annoyed so I went to iStore to complain. So according to them if you upgrading with them they get their stock from the Cellular company you are upgrading with. And stock from MTN (in my case) is not forthcoming.

I also went to the iStore to complain and was told that Core Group does not handle cellphones and that the cell provider is to blame for the lack of stock / availability.

Agreed. I've switched off background updating to improve battery life. Otherwise stuff just works, as they say.

Oh, and Google apps on iOS are very well done.

I'd like the Gmail app to implement 3D touch shortcuts.

Also been only Android until recently. 7 plus was my first iPhone and so far enjoying it. Haven't found a single use case as yet that I could do on my android that I can't do on my iPhone.

Only thing I don't really like about iOS is the notification system. Apart from that I'm very impressed with the overall app experience.

So ordered an iPhone 7 yesterday from vodacom4u. Wanted to get a cheaper iPhone SE, but apparently:confused: they have been discontinued?

Calling lots of BS.

Lazy consultant and/or Voda.

I see the iPhone SE is still on the apple website as well...Might be Vodacom, as both shops in our mall told me the same story. It is still listed on their online shop though

Just means the store didn't want to order stock, and wanted to get rid of phones sitting in the back.

South Africans are such easy push overs, and will always accept what the sales people tell them as gospel.

Just discovered the Workflows app. Similar in some ways to Automate or Tasker on Android, though not as powerful. Very useful nonetheless.

So I got my phone on friday directly at the MTN store instead of the istore. Was very unhappy though and will still complain when everybody is back at work. The service apart from the lady at the store was atrocious.
