Typing to you form the 256mb plus. Enjoy the large screen as it fits my large hands. Those with normal one aren't unhappy.
The 7 Plus is not just bigger than the the 7: It has a better camera (dual-camera), more RAM (3GB versus 2GB) and a larger battery which gives overall better battery life than the smaller iPhone despite the larger, higher resolution screen.
I have the 7 Plus (moved to it from a Nexus 6), and as mentioned above, enjoy the phone because I have large hands and got used to having a large display. I recommend the 7 Plus since it's an overall better phone but you must take the extra bulk into consideration if you are not used to having a large phone.
