Lol, they are still deciding on how to rip us all off without hurting each other's pockets

They do this with all major flagships. Those of us who preordered the Note8 waited weeks for pricing, speculation flew all over of how much they'd fleece us.

Same deal when I preordered the Note 4.

Anyone want to speculate at what price point the iPhone X will start? I am betting a minimum of R949pm and I maybe under valuing it!

I can lean towards R949 or maybe even R999. For the 64GB of course.
UNLESS they anally abuse us and put it on their premium contracts, then you're looking at R1199 for a 64GB model, is my guess.

Middle class people will pay that because they see the phone as a status symbol.

And a 1000 bucks a month isn't a lot of money. If it is then rather put that money towards an education to get a better job.

Yeah it astounds me when I see “kids” in their early twenties with their first jobs rocking iPhone 7’s (probably now 8’s) and I first wonder how they got those contracts in the first place and then cry for them at the massive percentage of their salary that goes to the phone.

Here I am rocking a 5S on Prepaid by choice, because I understand the value of money. At the same time wish I knew that when I was their age I would have retired already.

And I wouldn’t call the finger print scanner more secure. It’s easier to cut a finger off.

Good grief man cut a finger off?

In that case the person may as well put a gun to your head, spare the messy situation and get you to put your Face, Iris or Fingerprint in the scanner.

Which is completely wrong, it’s fairly well publicised TouchID only works with a live finger with a pulse.
 
So then just force the person.

Or roofie them.

Ultimately comes to the point that if someone wanted to get in they would.

Making a moerse long password the safest of them all still.
 
The dudes stealing your phone in SA aren't going to give two ****s about the data on it, they just want to sell it to make money.

Oh BTW. If anyone was sneaky they could unsubscribe you from the emails and/or add you to more or change your email address as that page is linked to you (the Update Profile, Manage Subscriptions, Unsubscribe at the bottom), if were me I'd screenshot from the site and remove the link.

Ya agree. Anything under R25000 for a 256GB Space Grey model and I'm buying it cash. Anything above - renewing my contract (upgrade ready since Jan 2017 - been waiting for this one!). Cash option - because screw Cell C and their ridiculous contract rates.
