95% of the time I’m on LTE in Cape Town Southern Suburbs, but I’m expecting it to be a bit spotty further out until they implement more upgrades.

The coverage map is fairly accurate.
 
I'm very tempted to make the jump from Vodacom to Telkom Mobile because of the pricing on their iPhone X contracts. The zero-rated music streaming is a huge drawcard for me. I just worry about the quality of their network, since I've been with Vodacom for so long. Sticking to the devil I know and all that. Anyone know what their signal is like in the City Bowl area?
 
friends between Rosebank and Sandton in JHB on Telkom hate it as can't make calls or use the data (just times out). They're on iphone 7+
 
And if anyone missed it ... 256gb iPhone x at Makro for r18700 odd

They do have the 64 at the exact same price and another 64 at r20800 odd

So I think it's an error

called at&t last night for an update, got some foreign support person. couldn't do jack schit, so I lost it on them. hung up, called back and got an American tech....20 minutes later my service is working on my watch.

noticed another feature on the apple that I didn't have on my s7 edge, voice mails are transcribed to message format so I can read it from the phone, instead of dialing in and listening, can even delete the voice mail based on the message transcribed in.

My istore order went from "awaiting stock" to "processing". Holding thumbs for Friday!

64gig with the -gig data deal at telkom is 999pm.

They cant tell me when it will be delivered, just that they get stock Friday and will then start distributing.


Im still waiting for my vodacom call... dont trust telkom
