iPhone App Store

So I finally received my iPhone, and I'm stoked! One thing though, how do you get around the app store issue where it only allows you to purchase in the South African app store? There's almost nothing there!

Someone posted in another thread how to do that. Something like you browse while not logged in, then create an account in the UK store or whever, and then you can browse that store's free apps with your new account. I am guessing the procedure atm, but I know it is here somewhere.
