Any idea where to find the folder that contains all my apps to back up?
I tried the itunes folder, its not there...

Easiest way to get the exact folder is to right click in iTunes on any app (in your library) and it will show the file location, and just browse to there and you should find all your apps

I've searched for .ipa files, can't find anything.
My iTunes folder has CD configuration iTunes resources iTunes helper iTunes miniplayer Mozilla plugins no media folder.

In the iTunes folder I only have *Previous iTunes Library *iTunes Media * Album Artwork.
No Mobile Applications folder :(
iTunes media only has Music and the only music in there is My .m4a ringtones...

That's odd. All your ipa's should be in the mobile applications folder in the iTunes folder...

EDIT: latest version of iTunes? Windows 7?

EDIT: And when you hit start and type .ipa in try searching for them? Nothing?

EDIT: Sounds like all your apps were downloaded directly to your iDevice with nothing stored on your pc. Connect your iDevice, select it in the menu on the far left, right click it and choose transfer purchases...

iTunes 10.6 on W XP
Tried searching, no files found.
Ive synch many times, backed up etc.
will do the transfer purchases later, dont have the USB cable with me.

On XP the mobile applications folder should be in the same folder as the itl file IE

\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Library.itl

EDIT: But ja, try transfer purchases. That should sort it out...

EDIT: If you open iTunes on your pc in the menu on the left, with no device connected, is there an apps option in your library menu and if there is when you highlight it does all your apps get displayed on the right?
