iPhone Problems!!!!

My sisters iPhone just goes black for no reason at all,And it also becomes uresponsive
Its using OS 3 and its very very new.

Whats the prob and how can i fix it?

You are aware that the phone goes into standby mode and turns off the screen?

Try Restore it in iTunes...

Note i said it becomes unresponsive.
Meaning it does not respond to touch comand.

Try do a restore in iTunes, that's prob the easiest quickest way to fix your problem...

I have a magic touch to break most devices i use. So my steps when getting a new device:

1) Unbox it
2) Google how to hard reset it

Step 2 is my golden ticket at least 3 times in the first 2 days.

My point: hard resetting / restoring is always an option! Try the iTunes route indeed.

FYI, to hard reset:

Hold Power and Home button in together for 10 seconds.

Unresponsive you say... for how long?

I'd suggest a hard reset and then leave it alone for about 15-20min.
I have found that sometimes after starting up 'cold' it can take a few minutes to finish its cycle and become responsive - give it about 15min and you may find that its fine after that. Also: the issue most likely will not happen each time it boots up, after being allowed to do its thing it levels off and youre fine.

A bit vague I know but I do speak from 1st hand experience.
