iPhone users tire quickly of new apps

yip, I think this is true, cause there is so much more apps out there, as soon as you download something, chances are there will be something better already available

i think the same can be said of apps on other phones. I dont use all the stuff i downloaded. Some i use all the time.

Haven't read the article but from experience I can tell you that there is a multitude of 99c fart applications and the like... obviously these only entertain the first few times (although honestly: Jack the Ripper on iFart just doesn't get old!), 'real' applications like Bloomberg; The Weather Chanel; all of the different unit converters; etc... basically anything that expands the capabilities of your phone remain in use for a long time. I still use 'Cambio' to convert currency when shopping online and that was one fo the 1st apps I ever downloaded.

EDIT: 'Remote' is another app in daily use :)

I use pretty much all the apps I installed on my Symbian phone. Garmin Mobile XT, Google Maps (with latitude), Ngage games, Fring, Truphone.. just to name a few.
