Are you looking at the correct place?

AFAIK, its under Settings ->> General ->> Netowrk ->> EDGE, or somewhere along those lines.

Please can someone help me setup this phone i can recive mail but not send ?

I am using an Iphone and connect on both MTN Edge and GPRS as well as Wifi.

I am using Gmail as well as my Dotmac accounts as my email and have no problem to send or recieve email. My GMail account is setup as an IMAP account which means that it is synchronized with all changes on the computer, Iphone or online.

My settings are standard but I can remember that I had to change one setting, namely the SMTP port. This was changed to 587.

You change this under Settings, Mail the account and then advanced.
