Rusty was brilliant. Hopefully this will finally convince the national selectors that he has to play for the proteas in both odi and pro 20 international. He is our best death bowler by a mile.

He also had an excellent attitude while playing this IPL game. Listening to seasoned players and also giving his own ideas. Very smart and did not panic.
 
I am really glad to rusty, he should have made the Protea team 1 season ago:), he was really brilliant and clam, hopefully we got another good deathbowler for awhile :)
 
Last night's game was amazing! Rusty really is going to be one of SA's stars at the World T20.

That was an amazing partnership between Vijay and Albie - glad I stopped to watch!
 
Royals win last night was also great. Warnie back to his best. Royals still haven't lost when defending 150 or more.

Is JP still injured or is Mumbai Indians just not picking him. I see Mumbai are giving Ryan McClaren a long run

Do the players still get paid while sitting on the bench all the time?

Was injured, but has been available for selection for the last week.

Yes you get paid the full amount as long as you are available or out for injury. You don't get paid if you are away with your international team.

McClaren has been playing since mumbai like to play the extra bowler. Has done very well for them. JP might coming in though for bravo or pollard, their batting has struggled when sachin fails .
 
Not sure why JP is warming his pew, but think it could be to do with form?

Right now the MI are struggling for form in the middle order and they might just crack the nod to JP.

Doubt they would drop Bravo or Pollard, they good bowlers as well.
They messed up when Tendulkar got dehydrated...
