My reference to players was the players in the Fantasy League in CricInfo
The have 2 compos going to pick players for the usual fantasy IX and then pick the winning team. I got up to 11th over the weekend in Pick 'em. But lost my way a wee bit.

Breaking news from Twitter. Vijay Mallya, manufacturer of beer and owner of RCB tweets thus: "Its official now....the explosive Chris Gayle is now a part of the RCB squad after receiving clearance from the WICB"
Gayle comes in for the injured Nannes, but is likely to take the vacancy left by Dilshan at the top once the Sri Lankan players leave the IPL.

In Jacobs' absence, Rayudu will keep wicket for Mumbai. Pune, according the Sony Max, are playing only three overseas players. Smith and Parnell are out today. Paine will keep wicket, and possibly open the innings as well.
Smith definitely dropped after indifferent performance.
