How come there are only 70 games in the group stage?
10 teams altogether, and each plays every other team twice then that would be 90 games?

Didn't realise that... and that's weird. But I am not the best mathematician around

Probably changed the format since 90 game would have been heavy, still trying to understand the playoffs

From what I can make out, the playoffs are:
A. 1st vs 2nd in table;
B. 3rd vs 4th in table;
C. Loser (A) vs Winner (B);
D. Final: Winner (A) vs Winner (C).

seems fair to me.
winner of 1 or 2 on the log goes to final, loser of that game gets another chance.
Should make the "semi's" very competitive

1. Two "groups" of 5 (not shown separately on points table) - each team plays every other team in "group" twice = 8 games;
2. Each team plays four teams in other "group" once = 4 games;
3. Each team plays one team in other "group" twice = 2 games;
4. Total games per team = 14;
5. Total games in group stage = 70.
One group would have been 18 games per team and 90 games in total.

I'm hoping he can keep his momentum for a while longer.
Iv picked Kings solely on the fact that Gale has to fail sometime, with Dilshan leaving maybe some instability in the line up if Gale goes early. Adam Gilchrist will have to get some runs upfront though. If this gamble does not work out I'm screwed.
