IPL 2022

Young Brevis has been a shining light for an otherwise dismal Mumbai Indians team. What is his contract situation with them? Is he locked in for the next few years? Or can another team offer him eye watering sums of money to jump ship? More of these performances and he will be commanding fees the likes the IPL has never seen.

If I was him, I'd stay with MI for at least a couple of years. R6m is a decent starting salary for an 18y old :) So much to learn there from the likes of Tendulkar, Jayawardene, Rohit, etc. Getting to face some of the top bowlers (Bumrah, Archer next year) in the nets on a daily basis has to be of great value for the young man. Give him some time to work on his leg breaks as well :)

And MI is owned by Ambani who has more money than SA's GDP. Won't be afraid to throw dollas to keep him.

They even have Tendulkar in the side as a "mentor"

He's locked in. There might be an option to trade him to another franchise, but that'll be on MI terms.

Hopefully he doesn't carry the curse of ABD i.e. greatest batsman to never win anything.
 
Good game for markram and jansen yesterday. SRH shaping up nicely with their batsmen hitting some form, no good spinner tho.

One upside of ESPN+ is that I can watch recent games on demand. Watched KKR versus SRH earlier this morning. Small wins.

I am hoping for a good innings from Brevis and no e of the other MI batsmen fire. I like them at the bottom.
