IPL 2022

Must say, when I watched Brevis at the U19 World Cup, I wondered whether he would be able to bat at a fast-enough strike rate in top level T20. Now it’s clear he was just batting slow at the World Cup cause he knew all the other batters were schit and he couldn’t afford to lose his wicket. Kudos to Mumbai for scouting him.

We need to get him into the Proteas white-ball line-up.

Brevis can play good shots but feels like he is a bit greedy and wants to every ball and when a bowler bowled a good ball you need to leave it. Don't force it.

I don’t want to hear any excuses from our selectors about him being too young or who needs to be left out.

AB was exactly the same when he started. IIRC he credits some time with Darryl Cullinan as helping him be more patient.

He’s still young this should come with experience but we need to give him that experience now not a few years down the line.

That wasn’t a good ball. It was a low full toss. He just didn’t get the placement right.

Such is T20. Bad balls get wickets.

Great ball IMO.

He bowled it slightly wide and full so Brevis made contact with the lower half and it landed in the fielders hand without the fielder even have to move.

That is calculated.

Miserable finish by MI :( -- they had a decent start, just could not get it altogether for the entire innings.

Not gonna lie, I thought Pollard would do it in the end. Looks like post-Punjab KL knows how to close a match.

I can't imagine him getting better experience than in the IPL sitting in the dugout next to Tendulkar, Jayasuriya et al.

Kohli having a really bad run. Faf also going into a bit of a slump now.
