I booked for the game at Supersport Park on the 6th of May this morning. I wonder why we can't book for Wanderers. Would like to go to the game on the 2nd of May at Wanderers.

Still nothing for the The Wanderers on Computicket - booking was supposed to open today!

I'm considering driving to the stadium!

There's some issue going on at wanderers, not sure what.

Computicket worked fine for me this morning. Got tickets for the double header at ss park for 12 May.

Nothing on Computicket yet; I'll have some time tomorrow morning to go over to The Wanderers, if there is nothing online by then.

bwana, I read on computicket's site that we are not allowed to bring the following:

Prohibited

Alcohol, animals, air horns, nuisance items, cans, glass, own braai equipment, firearms or any cameras.

Allowed
Cooler boxes:
Must be stored under the seat in the Pavilions
Own food, cold drinks (plastic containers only) and fold-up chairs are allowed on the Grass Embankment ONLY

How would they know anyway? I can stick it in a bag and they would never know.

They search bags but if its a small enough camera and you can put it in your pockets you may get away. At the t20 at ss park they search the bags but not the person themselves.

They have always allowed me to take in my Camera at ss park

IPL are very fussy about photographs, to such a degree that AP and Reuters refused to cover the tournament. They've recently relented though.

What kind of camera? I want to take my dSLR with. It's a bit chunky. Keep in mind that I'm in CT.

Iv'e always taken my Canon 350D in a normal camera bag. They might have different rules for the IPL though.

they only search the bags ie cooler and rugsacks, so keep the camera in your pocket and you'll be ok.

unsure if anyone has mentioned this,

but did anyone take note of the times of the games, i only checked for jhb
3 may : 20h15-23h15
10 may : 20h15-23h15

lets hope the stadium is full, as i don't want to walk alone at eleven at night to my car parked way down in corlett dr

You are reading the wrong times. Those are the Indian standard times. The afternoon/evening games starts at 16:30 and the early afternoon games at 12:30 SA time.
