iPod Classic 160GB Black or White?

Hi Guys

I want to get one of these for my car today or tomorrow, I almost have enough eBucks, I have one or two questions as I've never owned anything Apple.

1.) Is the connector on the bottom the same as the previous generation iPod, i.e. will it work with my cars sound system (currently has Apple connector)

2.) Is the Black one glossy, or matt finished? The pics look matt, I'm not a fan of anything glossy.

3.) Which colour do you prefer, and why?

Anything else helpfull will be appreciated.

The connector should be the same - it is for the new nano and I havent heard anything to the contrary to indicate the classic would be any different than all the other models. It wouldnt make sense to change it now.

I dont prefer either black or white - I'd buy a case for it either way.

I'm up in the Northern Province, so don't really know if any store in this farm town would have one for me to check. It'll probably always be in the car, so I won't really see it much... which means the colour thing won't be that important.

P.S. The reason I'm buying it, is because the Pioneer USB interface I need for my head unit is R2000, then add the price of a 320GB harddrive, might as well just get an iPod for a little extra, with a lot more funcionality.

i've got the 160gig black, its pretty damn sexy, the other option is not really white i think, its more of a silver. TAKE THE BLACK

Looking to use ebucks... so has to be one of the partner stores, I'm just not to keen on an iPod Video, but I'll decide in the next two weeks. I wish there were converter 'plugs' for car audio systems, I'm tired of everything being iPod Ready, and no converters for iriver, sansa, etc.
