IPTV gaining momentum worldwide

Wasn't Telkom supposed to go head to head with Multichoice and offer us IPTV? Oh yeah they did.

I was under the impression that TelkomMedia was going to do IPTV over ADSL - but of course Telkom sold that division...
 
In countries like the UK where 24mb/s is a common occurrence YES ipTV will be popular. The US has cable modems that runs at lightning speeds. Here we still fight to get a stable constant 4mb line. Anyway the content in SA is so not worth the money you have to cough up for the bandwidth.
 
I know there is a thread already but what is cable if not copper or fibre optic, the wiki page didn't shed much light on it either. Super5 is supposedly going to bring IPTV but it seems more likely that I will fall pregnant before they launch.
 
are you male or female? female timeframe---> 14-28 days to 15 years

male timeframe ----> about 2 years to until you have the income!
(sadly yes, there is a pregnant man, and he is asian....)
