Howdy @rain_mobile

Its 2021 , is ipv6 on your roadmap somewhere?

This is a big reason I wont use Rain as my primary connection :/

If its not on the roadmap, I am sure posts like this help the case for it, some isp's are comfy with their CGNAT setups and need a reason to move on

Hi @Leno

Yes, IPV6 is on the route map

Testing is still being done on IPv6 to provide a service that is stable and reliable.

They are a bit behind the curve here. They have had plenty of time. One would have thought that building a new network would have this in by default

Networking ain't my strong point. Will user-end hardware need any updates?

(Using a RouterBoard RB2011 and Ubiquiti APs)

My usg 3p from I dunno how many years ago, and my unifi ap-Ms are giving me full ipv6 and wpa3.
I'm sure the mikrotik will handle it.

Your AP's dont need to support it (unless you doing packet inspection etc) but I am sure they do

AP's just forward network packets, on a higher OSI layer to ip traffic

On a side note , my Fibre FNO has been quite unstable lately,
so I have disabled ipv6 for now as my backup LTE doesnt have ipv6

Causes problems with my Wifi led bulbs etc, they dont seem to fall back to ipv4 properly
