IPv6 Roll Out

Not sure if the bug exists still on RouterOS v7

If you had any (v4 or v6) queue enabled, v6 broke (connection tracking died)

Also if you changed anything with the bridge you had to go to ipv6 -> settings and disable then re enable it again

Are there any specific configs to get ipv6 working on openserve or is availability area dependant? Have relatives that have migrated to openserve from octotel following the price changes. Struggling to get ipv6 working. Have also dialled in via laptop to ont but no luck auto-obtaining the address. It is running on an openwrt router, will have to find the huawei one next time I am there.

If it's a new account it might not have the ipv6 flag enabled yet. We enable it periodically.

Please send me a pm with the email address for me to get it enabled for you.

Yes it is a new account, unfortunately I do not have access to the account details will it be possible for the account holder to call or contact support and ask them to enable it? Thank you for responding!

You can or you can send me the email if you can get that for me to ask the team to enable it.

@cavedog - Current setup - Router linked to Netgear Orbi RBK20. IPv6 fine on the router and also on devices linked directly to the router. Have set up IPv6 on the Orbi, but only IPv4 on the devices linked to the mesh. Any ideas ?tempsnip.png

It's set up in Router mode (AH Router 192.168.3. and Orbi 192.168.1.) Maybe I should switch Orbi to AP ? Not having any issues with the setup though.. was just fiddling with and checking the IPv6 setups (as per your comments in the Youtube thread

In router mode you get a double nat situation and the ipv6 lease is given the the router and not passed to the devices connected to it.

In AP mode it uses the dhcp of the the main router and the ipv6 is delegated to the devices connected.

Thanks... will change the Orbi (later ...when the wife isn't working :) )

Anyone managed to get ipv6 working on pfSense? Keep getting an fe80::20e:c4ff:fed2 which is obviously not working.
Settings on WAN are
IPv4 pppoe
IPv6 DHCP6
Use IPv4 connectivity as parent interface: Ticked
DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation size: set to 60, also tested with default of 64
