IPv6 Roll Out

Just got Frogfoot Fibre IPv6 working with my Unifi Setup.
USG Ultra

I had to go to Settings > Internet > Primary WAN (1) > IPv6 Connection Set to DHCPv6 > Prefix Delegation Size Set to 62 > DNS Server Auto

That's part 1, now onto the local network settings:

Settings > Networks > Default > Toggle IPv6 > Advanced Set to Manual > Set to DHCPv6 > Save

Now all devices on the network that support IPv6 are active and working correctly. I also tweaked the intrusion detection and blacklisted a few countries.

Afrihost Vuma Trenched seems to have lost IPv6. Rebooted a few times and no dice
Hi.

We have had a meeting with Vuma, and they will be working on resolving the issue.
We will update you as soon as the change has been completed.

Hi Team afrihost, is IPV6 available in Parkhurst and if so what is the prefix delegation and do you by any chance have static IP reservations?

Thanks!

Hi.

Is this for Vumatel?

Yes this is Vumatel, any reason for not being able to allocate static IPv6 prefixes. It seems a requirement if you would like to run DHCP/DNS within your own network.
With Vumatel active ethernet with an Object number I can now allocate a dynamic or static /56 pd and ia_na

Any progress on getting ipv6 working on unifi with Metrofibre? If not is there anything i can do to assist or facilitate? i can provide wan port packet capture for example

Has anything changed on Openserve? IPv6 doesn't seem to get an IP anymore.
TP-Link Deco:
Connection type = PPPoE
Sync IPv4 account = Checked
Get IPv6 address = Non-Address
Prefix Delegation = Checked
DNS Address = Auto
Assigned Type = SLAAC+Stateless DHCP.

Worked like this before. Doesn't work at all now.

Fixed. Changed assigned type to DHCPv6 (if anyone else has the problem)

Still having an issue where browsers on my Win11 machine keeps forgetting it’s got an IPv6 address after a couple hours and fails a IPv6 test. iPhone works regardless of time connected :/

Hi @Afrigirl, @AfriGuy

I'd like to report that IPV6 on MFN via DHCP is now functional, I switched from PPPOE to DHCP to test if the ICMPV6 issue was resolved and it was, I now have fully functional IPV6, and the leases are now instantly obtained. I have one issue though, the prefix delegated to me is too small for my network, I tried requesting for a larger prefix from the router, but the request was not honored, Do I need to contact support to request the prefix or contact your team via mail?

Thank you once again and regards
