How do you apply for the trial assuming its still running, should be getting fibre activated within the week and would love to participate in the trial via Octotel.
Thanks, when will your IPv6 trial end, or have you exited already?
You take the word right out of my mouth.@AfriNatic how's OS IPv6 coming along? Or has the FF drama caused a bit of a delay
We started off with a trial for Staff fibre lines. We have completely shifted focus on getting as many fibre lines on IPv6 as fast as possible. I'm hoping that in the next 2 months everyone will be on IPv6 on the Afrihost network. It's a substantial number and it's not an easy or quick task but we are pushing for this.

@AfriNatic I see something is happening on your network however it still only reports 0.6% IPV6 capable clients.

Seems you are taking a very cautious ap proach. Your 30 day moving average "IPv6 preferred" stats on APNIC are going up at around 0.1% per day. Congrats by the way because it has now breached 1%. Webafrica (also Echo) has risen to 15% in basically the same time
Openserve still dragging their feet?It should spike as soon as we have the Huawei OTA update pushed.
Pushing configs to the D-Link via TR-069 has been slow but moving along at a constant rate.
I really have fallen in love with TR-069.It should spike as soon as we have the Huawei OTA update pushed.

Might be convenient but it is a backdoor into your network, not desirable at all.I really have fallen in love with TR-069.
I can assure you it is very secure.Might be convenient but it is a backdoor into your network, not desirable at all.
Only if implemented well. https://mybroadband.co.za/news/inte...sl-routers-to-make-it-fix-security-flaws.htmlI can assure you it is very secure.
