How would you know if you are on the new BNG ?We will start rolling out IPv6 on the new BNG. ADSL and Fibre on old BNGs to follow at a later stage.
Mine is tvwt-ip-bng-1, about 2 months old.
Any update on Openserve @AfriNatic?
Does it still apply to new BNG's only?We are starting to test ADSL and Fibre from today on staff lines. If we happy with that we will push a mass rollout. There has been significant delays to get ADSL on board and we had to push Openserve a bit to get this going as Pure DSL is here to stay for now and we want as many clients on IPv6 as possible.

retro..We were able to roll out that from the start but wasn't going to work for us so we had to wait for the changes to be done and now we are hoping that everyone will get IPv6. We expect issues on the very old adsl exchanges but for the most part IPv6 will work for most clients on Openserve.
Once that is done we will be the only ISP in SA to offer IPv6 on ADSL.![]()
retro..
i don't suppose you have an estimate on the internal testing? i guess, it depends if it goes well or not.
