IPv6 Roll Out

No, that's how it's been staying the whole morning.

Please connect a desktop or laptop to the ONT directly and setup a pppoe connection.

Once connected please run ipconfig in cmd to see if you get a prefix when connected directly.

Okay I think we should try another router or connect directly and do the pppoe and ipv6 connection on the laptop or desktop to see what it does then. Might be a router issue.
Hi,

I connected a TP-Link to test with, however same scenario, see below:

TP_link is also a bit of an issue You can see it got our DNSv6 addresses but it's failing to get a prefix.
Cool, thanks for trying to help, appreciate it.

Will put it down as a router issue my side :)

Have the Orbi back on now, and when I set the IPv6 connection to PPPoE it also picks up the DNSv6 addresses, but is not getting an IP.

Using an Afrihost D-Link DIR-825 G1, 7.01. On Openserve, unable to get IPV6 to work.

IPV4:
2022-03-26 13_21_40-D-LINK SYSTEMS, INC. _ WIRELESS ROUTER _ HOME — Mozilla Firefox.png
IPV6:
2022-03-26 13_22_24-D-LINK SYSTEMS, INC. _ WIRELESS ROUTER _ HOME — Mozilla Firefox.png
IPV6 Status:
2022-03-26 13_23_09-D-LINK SYSTEMS, INC. _ WIRELESS ROUTER _ HOME — Mozilla Firefox.png

I've tried with PPPoE in the IPV6 settings as well and it just gets stuck connecting indefinitely.

Had the same problem. Actually managed to bork my settings completely. Reached out to the Afrihost whatsapp team. Took a long time trying different settings, but the guy sorted me out. Give them a try

Afrinatic can you please test my IPV6 and see if it is working? I get mixed results from different IPV6 test sites.
My settings (only setting that work)

Then I have zero IPV6 connectivity

And my IP 4 keeps disconnecting

Some TP-link routers don't like the PPPoEv4 and DHCPv6 combination. We are not sure if it's a firmware bug but so far it's a few TP-link, Netgear and Zyxel routers and the old D-link routers.

I would recommend getting a Huawei router from us. It's working as expected on Ipv6.

Which D-Link routers are those exactly? I am having a problem getting IPv6 to work on the Afrihost supplied D-Link DIR825. I have updated firware to 3.0.7.
