They just jealous because Isis gaining land and influence. In my view they are just as bad as isis.

Iran takes their religion quite seriously! The head religious figure has control over political policies in the country.

You can't really compare the two. Last I saw Iran wasn't rampaging throughout the Middle East leaving a trail of slaughter and destruction in their wake.

Iran is one of the more peaceful countries in the region.

No, not really. I'd spend a week in Iran if I had to, but I wouldn't spend 20 minutes near an ISIS controlled region.

Are you for real?
That is exactly what Iran is doing, rampaging across the ME. It is heavily involved in the conflicts in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Irag and Gaza. Iran has her grubby paws in all these conflicts. Peaceful. hahaha, I'm not sure you know what that means.

Actually they are fighting the ISIS and Al Qaeda which both have said and have targeted Western targets. Just recently ISIS slaughtered women and children in Syria, yet again.

Iran definitely has human rights issues but it's nowhere near as bad as ISIL.

Just because their agenda is hidden and obscured by politics etc does not mean they are not the same as isis.

No. Just because they don't slaughter random innocent people. You must be either ignorant or disingenuous. Yes Iran has serious human rights violations but even in Iran you don't find regular beheadings of random innocent people especially children, neither has Iran targeted European and American targets offshore or in the ME. (I know they targeted a tanker recently.) That's not to say they are not a possible threat, or danger if they get nukes, but at this time, they are definitely not something like ISIL.

I believe even Jews and Christian minorities are able to live reasonably in Iran, contrast that to these people "living" under ISIS control.

The Iranian government may be a bunch of ********s, but they're not on the same level of ****ed in the head as ISIS.

Their agenda is definitely not to rampage through the middle east in an orgy of slaughter. I understand that they have their issues though.

Ironically those issues would be solved if they were allowed to prosper for a few decades. When a population is fat and happy they tend to turn towards education which in turn starts causing them to ask questions like "Is it really such a big issue if Bob at work is pomping John down the street?"

Think you've been drinking too much of marine1's special Kool-Aid :D ;)

Iran has the death penalty for homosexuality. So his fears are justified, just that they are nowhere in the same league that ISIS is.

Well besides the fact they would hang him for being gay, or hang him for saying anything against islam, nothing to fear at all.

I'm not sure they would hang him necessarily for saying anything against Islam per se, it's not automatic death penalty there. Also as you said you need to actually do something to get prosecuted in Iran, e.g. speaking your conscience, but under ISIS you actually have to become Muslim to be able to survive in many cases. Sometimes that's not enough as they also kill Muslims.

Iran is the main reason why there is no peace deal between the Palestinians and Israelis.
