Well besides the fact they would hang him for being gay, or hang him for saying anything against islam, nothing to fear at all.
Must be the other Iran then:erm:I'm not sure they would hang him necessarily for saying anything against Islam per se, it's not automatic death penalty there. Also as you said you need to actually do something to get prosecuted in Iran, e.g. speaking your conscience, but under ISIS you actually have to become Muslim to be able to survive in many cases. Sometimes that's not enough as they also kill Muslims.
A 37-year-old man has been executed in Iran after being found guilty of heresy and insulting prophet Jonah, according to human rights activists.
Executions in 2015 to date (last updated on May 8, 2015)
At least 329.
Given the secrecy surrounding executions, exact numbers are difficult to obtain and different figures are provided by various organizations. According to the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, records 329 executions in 2015 as of April 16, 94 of which were announced by the government. [37] This tally draws upon media reports citing a majority of official sources and reliable unofficial sources known to the organization.
Another organization, the Abdorrahman Boroumand Foundation, reports 380 executions for 2015 as of May 8. [38]
The actual number of executions is likely to be higher, given the government’s underreporting of executions and the holding of secret executions.
