When I was last in the US I stood under one, on the USS Intrepid, awesome craft.

Factoid = when the aircraft is moved there is a ‘shadow’ left on the ground from the light, constant, drizzle of fuel (it is a flying fuel tank). The fuel tank is made from relatively loosely fitting plates which allow expansion when they heat-up (due to air friction) at speed.

Another factoid = every time a speed record was set, the Blackbird would crack its throttle a bit more and reclaim the record. The top speed was never determined because it was never pushed there.

Good job to Iran for shooting down the Drone, it was probably US or EU affiliated regardless where it came from.

Just read on cnn iran never actually shot one down, they got mighty confused haha.
