Is a iphone 4 worth it?

There isnt a problem with holding out for an iphone 5, but based on how Apple ranks and distributes the order in which countries receive stock has I mentioned earlier, he may wait quite a while before being able to upgrade on his contract.
 
I doubt we will see the iPhone 5 until next year.

They may very well release a iPhone 4s in September, but highly doubt the 5 will be anytime soon.

yes it will probably be like AT LEAST 3months before you can gett your hands on it after it's released. And this might be a bit optimistic. unless of course you get it from the states.
 
Hold out for the next generation iPhone (4S/5/whatever)... You may regret getting the iPhone 4 now, because by this time next year they will be announcing the 6 (or whatever) and you'll be 2 generations behind...
 
agree with the above. iphone 6 will re-invent the mobile universe
 
there is a chance next iPhone will only get here next year march or April, but if you can wait, wait.
 
Get it, i've been anti iPhoney for a while until wife convinced me to get her one. Was cool pre-jailbreak, but post jail-break its perfect!
My upgrade due to, for me its Galaxy S2 / iphone 5 (if specs are at least released in Sep)
 
I'm enjoying my iPhone for both business and personal.

I've never used a better smartphone.

Build quality and features are excellent, to say the least.

I won't easily consider another phone. Period.
 
I would say wait till september - July is almost done, not long to go
