is afrihost feeling the pinch?

i see today is the 16 april 2010 and afrihost is not offering the 2gb for the price of one. Could it be that they feeling the pinch?

It's never once occurred predictably on the same date so why would it start now.

Well the only pinch they've been feeling is peeps leaving due to the throttling, however this morning I got an email to suggest that they have improved their network and speeds should be better. I certainly hope so

email them and see if they have lifted it dude. I can't say I feel the difference, have emailed them myself to see what is what.

Same, all my downloads (just regular old "legal" http downloads) seem to be maxing out at about 40-60 KB/s on my 4mb line

Yeah, had the exact same issue before I cancelled and got refunded, they totally ignored me when i pointed out that their T&S said "Web and email would be unaffected" for usage under 60GB.

Service is terrible. The sms HELP and we will you call you as soon as possible is also a bunch of rubbish. SMSes them on Wednesday or so and last night again. Still zero response. Luckily I only used them for prepaid DSL unitl my 16HB special kicked in.

In Feb it was on the 25, according to the email that escaped my delete key.

got so mad with Afrighost I closed my account today ..Now on Axxesslite who were a little slow on the changes in the ISP dept .

But giving it a bit of a test ,and so far so good .
