IS Connection Problems

I have a 30 GB Local Only IS account with WebAfrica. For some reason it will not connect. Any idea if there is an IS related problem?

Heard they've been capping people at lower amounts lately, luckily I'm on uncapped.

I got capped at 43GB... first time I have ever been capped on this account this year.

IS accounts do not allow you to connect when capped - as opposed to the SAIX ones where you can connect and then do nothing.

Lucky for me I got hold of a WebAfrica agent online and got my deactivated 10 GB Local Only account reactivated.

Certain ISP's are now doing direct authentication with IS, leaving no margin for error as they have to pay for the over run, ISP who choose to use IS authentication dont risk this.

I e-mailed MrBEEP at OpenWeb about the slow connection. He said IS are still doing upgrades. He was hoping that it would all be back to normal by the weekend. So, I guess we just play the waiting game
