For me they the best since sliced bread. Can watch anything on my 40mbs VDSL line. 4K UHD, 1080p and 720p. Only 5-10% I watch is below 720p. 3x people in the house and we streamed over 400gb with the 250gb package with free time als maxed. You get what you pay for.

Left Afrihost and Vox and never looked back.

I had CW when they had their R 1 accounts. Wasn't impressed. Really had a hard time streaming. KZN region.
Currently with AH unshaped capped. No issues. Updated Destiny on PS4 through AH and played. No lag.
Have a friend's Vox account. Has more than 1TB of data so switch to it occasionally. Works amazingly well.

In my house we often have 2 HD streams going + 2x google music + someone browsing and it never skips a beat.

Youtube / Netflix / Showmax ALWAYS works perfectly.

I used to have a backup Afrihost unshaped capped account (just in case) and often had streaming issues during peak time (6pm - 9pm). That being said if there was no Crystalweb I would be with Afrihost.

Was on VOX about a year ago and it does not even compare. Also support is useless.

Network performance and support has sunk to unacceptable levels recently though.

There's more to it than that. CW is flying on my 100Mbps Openserve fibre line.

I still don't have a trial account, according to the very friendly and knowledgeable Support Desk, trial accounts are relaunching by the end of the week.

4K content takes anything from 12mb/s up to 20mb/s, 1080p is about 4-6mb/s. I love Amazon 4K quality with proper digital 5.1
Kodi does awesome 1080p and 4K nicely.

Wish I had a 100mb fibre line, I would probably pull 5-10TB a month

I agree. For the past month my account (10mb premium uncapped) has run at half speed or less in the evening due to shaping, streaming included. There are also some evenings where it runs full speed, but more often then not it will be shaped to the ground.

I was under the impression that they only shape downloads but its really not the case for me and its so frustrating, however i don't think there is any isp that is better atm.

10Mb Uncapped Premium account. The only issues I ever have are with my local exchange crapping itself every now and then, and occasionally international routing might be a bit iffy. Overall, I have no complaints. I haven't had to complain in a while.

Not good for gaming, have not been able to game on CW since end of last year. Bad pings and ping spikes. For everything else it's good. I use AH to game with.
