Do not go there. This company is ****.

They continued charging me for sites I'd cancelled for months. When I started reversing the debit orders they started adding extra charges, and split up the debit charges into more-or-less random amounts so there was no way for me to block them with the bank.

They refused to supply me with an invoice, telling me what they were charging for- stating that it was available on their site. But because they blocked my access (for alleged non-payment) I could not see an invoice at all. They apparently feel that charging whatever they want without showing an invoice with a cost breakdown is reasonable business practise.

They are also extremely rude with a typical email being nothing more than the words "read my last email" instead of answering questions.

All in a company to avoid.

Your R9/month hosting won't get you even R4.50 worth of "service"

Thanks for the luck. It's no secret though. The readings thread had been going for a while and that's where the idea came from. Been busy with more YT videos and a blog. Unfortunately the planning wasn't all that great.

All the sites I read states it takes on average 2 years to take off, however the number of views have been increasing much sooner than expected, an average of 30 a day currently and have no main website to pull it all together. Busy working on it now.

That's cool, good for you I will have a look. Being too busy or in demand is a awesome problem to have. IMO you should definitely go for a reputable paid option and save yourself the frustration and time spent on anything else because the concept is proven thus far and worth the investment.

Thanks, will be checking on the amount of space available and maybe settle for a cheap offer. At least there's advice on a couple hosting companies to avoid, which is appreciated.
