... or does do the forum headings make no sense now? While every individual move probably made sense at the time, the end result is confusing:

Other Internet Discussions > Network and Security > Network Admins (why have another sub heading for Network Admins, surely it could just be included in Network and Security??)

Then we have IT discussions (Network and Security is not IT??? And what about VOIP and ISDN; is that not Networking??)

PC Hardware
Software
MAC (OK, this could be both hardware and software, but it should be moved to either one)
Linux (Why is this not under software??)
Software Dev (This should also be under software??)
Cellular....(There are 10 sections above dedicated to Cell stuff, why is this here?? and not in one of the 10 headings above)

It may seem that I have too much time on my hands..... :)
 
I dunno i don't it find confusing.

You must remember linux, mac and windows okes don't mix well so best kept apart i reckon :D
 
Not the kind of confusing that makes you wonder where something is; but the kind of confusion that makes you wonder why they chose to do it they way that they did....

The mods should make it that you choose which section you want to view when you sign up: Linux, Mac, or Windows - and you can only choose one ;)

MAC (OK, this could be both hardware and software, but it should be moved to either one) (OS/not a PC)
Linux (Why is this not under software??) (OS)

Well I'm the guilty party for suggesting that the Network Admin subsection get opened. At the time, so many questions about network admin was being asked that it was a bit tought to spot the urgent questions people had.

The idea was that it would be a spot for us admins to exchange info and help others. Hasn't quite worked out that way sadly though.
