Is it worth it?

Theoritically 192 KBits per second = 24 KiloBytes per second.

Effective between 15 and 20 KBytes per Second.

I've got a 192 line and my download speed is 34-36 KBs

Edit, the exchange is about 200 meters from my home.

For a single user 192Kbps is fine. In a work environment with more than 5 users, 384 / 512 Kbps is prob worth it.

1024Kbps just for IT freaks (like me...)

384, 5 users ? :(

you can't get 384k as a business anyway...

IMO ADSL starts at 512k (although 384k works well for home users)...

192k is for people who don't want broadband but need a cheap decent internet connection.

I'm not even happy with my 1Mbit line speeds, I feel 4Mbit would just meet my needs.
