yes!i have to ask this question.because i phoned them at least 3 times and they said "yes sir.we are received your cancellation.so you don't have to worry"!!but they transfered my adsl line on their circuit:)i know i am not deaf and i heard them what they said to me on the phone.i didnt want to be rude.maybe sound is rude but what should i say?if you are saying something to somone and if they cant hear you or they cant understand you?what should i call them?

OK, what you need to understand is that this line transferring business is seriously painful. If MWeb gets an application, they need to apply to Telkom to have the line transferred. This may or may not happen rapidly depending on how Telkom is feeling. So if you cancel your application, the application sent to Telkom is still pending and then goes through long after you've canceled.

This 2 month business is probably due to the world cup. Telkom pulled a lot of crazy stuff during that time with their network freeze period.

If I were you I'd seriously consider sticking with MWeb. Right now they offer best bang per buck...aside from the seacom issues of course.

from your other posts--it seems you have settled for Wazzup, and have had a smoother transition. If you are happy with Wazzup and wish to stay with them, then call MWEB and formally cancel the order once more (since the order as per Havoc's post has undergone full circle). If you are in no-mans land (line ownership), then I am not sure how this will affect you given you are with Wazzup (also owns your line).

Having said this, I wish to add to Havoc's recommendation to "stick" with MWEB.

Ever considered they couldn't make out what your fax was alluding to based on your grammatically incoherent opening post?? ....Just a thought....
