Is MWEB still "de-prioritising" p2p?

Does anyone know? My line speed seems okay (first time in around a week it's been stable), but p2p is running at half-speed.

No, actually it's only been this way since Seacom broke last week. Before that I was getting full speeds from around 6.30pm.

We never got full speed even after 1am. In fact those on Mweb would not know what full speed is.

Unless they knew that filehosts can easily give you full speed long before 1am, then you'd know exactly what it is.

So you bypassed the shaping in order to achieve the speeds you should be getting anyway and I'm "doff" for not doing it. Excuuuuuse me!

Yes. Mweb news is much faster than torrents... I get full speed during the day on cached items... and no bypassing is required.
