Is my sync speed a problem or not?

Is a sync speed of 507/2047kbps on my 2meg line okay? I am not sure but I believe a 2meg sync is 512/2048kbps.
I don't know if this is an issue or if it is normal?

BTW: I live 3km from the exchange.

Shouldn't be an issue. What is your SNR like? As long as SNR is over 6 and Attenuation is below 50 your line should be pretty stable.

SNR was 23- i believe 28 db(can"t remember exactly) but I did not see attenuation. By the way it seems after it rains in my area the noise on my line along with adsl issues come up. Any way I can get Telkom to maybe install water-proof lines or something to stop this issue everytime it rains

That is what it suppose to say when you use ADSL 2+ if you were on g.dmt modulation it would be 512/2048
