I still remember the Cricket 97 demo I was downloading back in the day... 4KB/s, 4MB file, hoping it would finish ASAP so that my dad doesn't want to moer me after receiving the next phone bill. Sweat starts dripping once it drops to 1KB/s for seconds.
After about 20 minutes it's done. It felt like about 200.
