IS News Server down?

IS news server down??

is the server down again or is it just my connection??

i'm getting 14-21 kbs today.... better that the 0kbs i was getting last night

I have been maxing out my connection (384kb) since saterday from the newsserver. The rate I'm going I'm going to reach my 30gb local cap by next week.
Btw, how strict is IS in applying the cap?

Actually not that strict, you can exceed by a couple of gigs.

yea international dead for me aswell. Jeeez, im getting another web africa prepaid quickly. IS is just too useless

Openweb sent me this response:

There is currently a major international failure in the USA, causing the Satellite link IS uses degradring to standstill.

The International engineers are attending to the problem.

My int connection has been completely dead for a while - up and down rigth now.
